St. Andrew's participation in the annual NE Bergen CROPWALK was another success.

Thanks to all who participated in the CROPWALK this Fall. Once again the weather cooperated gloriously. St. Andrew's team consisted of 15 walkers and 6 support volunteers.

Hayley McGlone (accompanied by Jim & Cathryn and Bear), David and Thomas Fowler (accompanied by Andy & Lyn) represented our youth. Anne Kruger and Denise Hageman were our newcomers.  Julia, Barbara & Paul Shackford, Melinda Davis, Barbara Hasse, and Takashi Tomioka all returned for another year.

Our comfort station/refreshment team headed by Ed Hasse and Sarah & Richard Jeune cheerfully handed out cookies, juice and words of encouragement to a total of 59 walkers. This year Ed recruited his granddaughter, Kim Morgan and friend, Kellyanne Rooney. Pastor Diane added her assistance as well as blessing to any animals (including at least one stuffed) that came by.

The team was able to collect a total of $1,509.00 for the Christian World Service which will help with world hunger relief. Such success would not have been possible without the support of our many sponsors.
